2010 PIPS Developer Day

Loop fusion

An experimental loop fusion pass has been added to PIPS. It is being developed by Mehdi Amini. It can be used in conjunction with loop unrolling to unroll-and-jam loops.

PIPS is developed by people from different institutions, working in different places, using e-mail and collaborative software to work together. October 25 was a full day together in Paris, to meet people working away and to share information about the current developments. 13 presentations were given about PIPS, PyPS and Par4All and their use.

PhD defense - Duong Nguyen Que
